These fish appear to be a bit crowded however; they all get along fine in their 2,400 gallon aquarium home. There are seven assorted varieties and 24 fish in all.  The average length is 26" - 28" with several 32" - 34" in length.

Prior to being moved into their current outdoor aquarium, all of these fish lived together in a 600 gallon tank, 8' x 4' x 30", where they were very crowded but learned to get along over time.

Although their native eating habits vary widely they all have been conditioned to eat beef heart, grocery store hot dogs and large trout food both floating and sinking types.  The 12 Pacu play football with a head of iceberg lettuce until it has been devoured.
